Hello!
Prayers and thoughts to those in the Gulf! I think it is great that the convention is fundraising for all of victims of the Gulf. I hear they are dong service projects. I think keeping the focus on those that are in need is very important.
I am attending the RNC convention as a guest of Catholics for McCAIN!
I had so much fun. I saw some protestors. I also some crazy attendees. There was some guy dressed up as the July 4th guy!
The reception for the Catholics for McCain was very nice. I had some appetizers and some great conversation. I met a reporter from a catholic paper, a VIP from Spain and Sweden. It was really great.
The seating was okay. I did get on the convention floor and took some great pictures. I am very excited for tomorrow’s events.
I didn’t run into my Minnesota friends but the place is so huge.

I also saw the protesters earlier in the afternoon. However, there was were so many police officers in riot gear. The protestors really couldn’t keep up with the police. What I didn’t understand is the protestors who just danced but had no position. I AM SO CONFUSED by their protest.
